An expedition of scientists has discovered the root network of an ancient Forrest in the South Pole. This discovery has suggested that temperatures were surprisingly high in the Antarctic Cretaceous period, and there was an abundance of trees ultimately creating an immense rainforest around 900km from the Pole.
